چکیده

Abstract In the paper, nonlinear vibrations of a system with three degrees freedom having spherical pendulum are considered. The comprises mass element suspended from linear spring and viscous damper, swung element. It is assumed that fractional damping occurs in damper at pivot point. viscoelastic properties to be described using Riemann–Liouville derivative. derivative an order $$ 0 < \alpha \le 1$$ 0 < α ≤ 1 assumed. near internal external resonances analyzed. equations motion analyzed solved multiple-scale method. steady-state approximate solution studied. effect fractional-order on examined.

The Spring-Loaded Inverted Pendulum (SLIP) model has been established both as a very accurate descriptive tool as well as a good basis for the design and control of running robots. In particular, approximate analytic solutions to the otherwise nonintegrable dynamics of this model provide principled ways in which gait controllers can be built, yielding invaluable insight into their stability pro...

Nonlinear Dynamics of Duffing System with Fractional Order Damping

In this paper, nonlinear dynamics of Duffing system with fractional order damping is investigated. The four order RungeKutta method and ten order CFE-Euler methods are introduced to simulate the fractional order Duffing equations. The effect of taking fractional order on the system dynamics is investigated using phase diagrams, bifurcation diagrams and Poincare map. The bifurcation diagram is a...

The Motion of the Spherical Pendulum Subjected to a Dn Symmetric Perturbation

The motion of a spherical pendulum is characterized by the fact that all trajectories are relative periodic orbits with respect to its circle group of symmetry (invariance by rotations around the vertical axis). When the rotational symmetry is broken by some mechanical effect, more complicated, possibly chaotic behavior is expected. When, in particular, the symmetry reduces to the dihedral grou...
